PMVA (Prevention Management of Violence and Aggression) is a necessary update for all mental health professionals. One full day is required to complete the PMVA refresher course, which covers topics such as understanding the phases of the assault cycle, de-escalation strategies, and recognising the importance of implementing early intervention strategies.

Care Force Training ensures that all tutors possess an A grade from the GSA.

This Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) recertification course demonstrates techniques for safely diffusing and managing potential conflicts in a variety of settings.
To meet the requirements of the 2019 Restraint Reduction Network (RRN), course content has been developed in accordance with GSA (General Services Administration) standards and we are BILD Accredited.

British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) Code of Practise has been supplanted by the RRN Training Standards. (Reference: https://training-standards.restraintreductionnetwork.org)
